About Me

Hello Everyone, 

My name is Ashley, and I have been crocheting since I was 12 years old. Crocheting was a skill passed down from one family member to another, and it finally landed on me. Crochet is one of my favorite hobbies, and my favorite thing to crochet is stuffies, or amigurumi, for the crochet community. When I truly started getting into crochet, one of my first stuffy projects was a Minion from Despicable Me!

Even if the pattern is the same, each stuffy that I bring to life has it's own personality.  I love getting the opportunity to fill customers with joy as they enjoy my handcrafted crochet items. Nothing fills my soul more than seeing the look on someone's face as they look at their crochet item for the first time. Last year I started to dabble in fantasty amigurumi and crafted a beautiful dragon horde (available for purchase). 

I finally decided to take the next step in my crochet journey in 2022 and established Teal Frog Craft Company. This name Teal Frog Craft Company stemmed from my love of the color teal and crocheting, and my grandmother's love of frogs. Although she has since passed away, honoring her through my work has helped me stay close to her. Although she didn't teach me to crochet, she loved handmade goods and adored everything I made. 

Not only do I make stuffies, but I also dabble in washcloths, dish scrubbies, tissue paper dolls, baby loveys and many other things! Each of my projects is painstakingly made with love.
